I have held dozens of gym memberships over the years, I can honestly say that Primal Strength and Movement is the best gym I have attended. Classes are smaller in numbers which makes each session feel like you have the benefit of a personal trainer. Pol pays attention to each member's lifting/kettlebell technique and works with you until you got it nailed. I honestly don't know a more experienced fitness coach. Good banter amongst the members too. If you want to learn how to train correctly with fun training programs that evolve every few weeks, Primal is what you're looking for.

I love the coaches as they are so friendly, professional, passionate, knowledgeable and you can see that they actually care about each and every client.
You get coached as well as life coached whether you like it not lol.
It's small group training but feels like you are personal training each and every session.
I train in primal 5 mornings a week and look forward to going in each morning. It is my happy place. The staff & members are amazing and always up for a bit of craic. There's a great buzz about the place. Which is what I need!
We train hard, laugh hard and leave feeling rejuvenated and energised. Would recommend it to anyone looking wanting to join a real gym with real people that have real goals.
Primal is an excellent place to train. No waiting about for machines, just 1 hour of great training and fun.
The coaches are great, programs are changed every 6 to 8 weeks so you are never bored with training. They explain everything to you, go through the technique of the exercise, if you have injuries they know alternatives for you to reach your goal and always there for help.
The members are also great, encourage each other throughout the training and make it more enjoyable. I've been a member of primal for over 4 years and enjoyed every moment. Would recommend this place to everyone!
I played rugby for close to 25 years and was forced to stop due to injury. I did nothing for nearly 2 years and ballooned in weight. I was in really bad shape and was struggling to tie my shoes without getting out of breath. I saw a few videos shared by others of Pol and liked the way he came across and agreed with what he was saying about training. I put it off and off and off but eventually sent him a message and he rang me back. Booked in for a 4-week trial. 2 years later I'm fitter, stronger, and way more flexible. Pol and Michael are superb at creating the right environment for people to leave their egos at the door and just enjoy putting in the work whilst having a laugh in a relaxed atmosphere. No 6 pack Instagrammers looking in the mirror for an hour. Just people working hard towards whatever their goal is. The biggest thing for me is the sense of team/community that I gained again which I had lost when I stopped playing rugby. If you feel like you might have something to gain from it. Give it a go. If you do you will not regret it. My biggest fear was walking up the steps on the first day. 10 mins in with my male pride set aside I enjoyed working out again for the first time in a long time. I imagine I'm the heaviest member Pol has ever had and if I can do it and lose 45lbs in my first year I'm sure you can benefit from Primal too. Send the message, your life is worth it.
Having joined primal 2 years ago I haven't looked back, not your average gym in any way. Fantastic coached trainers helping you every session with any struggles you have and developing new skills with every programme. Great atmosphere and of course the banter between members gets you through a tough session.
I've completely changed my body composition from joining, built muscle, completed a transformation and continue to develop my knowledge with every programme which is changed on a frequent basis, this means you don't get bored doing the same stuff all the time and always given the opportunity to learn and develop your skills.
I joined Primal on the 4 week trial after too much sitting around, lockdown pounds and the big 40 not too far away! 6 weeks in and I feel great. Making solid progress with strength and overall fitness. Obviously decided to stick with Primal after the trial. Great gym with top class coaching! Adaptations and progressions on every exercise to suit my ability. Felt welcome and understood from my first session. Cannot recommend Primal enough!
I’ve been following Primal Strength and fitness on social media for a few years and was always intrigued by their content. I got the impression that they only worked with men so I never enquired with them. But when the most recent lockdown was nearing the end I saw them advertising a trial period and decided I’d message just to enquire. I knew that if I didn’t get straight back into training after lockdown and have some accountability I’d keep putting It off as I had done previously. Pol answered my enquiry almost immediately and assured me he doesn’t only work with men over 40 and I’d be very welcomed, so I decided I’d go ahead and sign up for the trial. I showed up on the first day and Pol was very thorough in assessing my strength and movement patterns and I met Michael shortly after. I started training 3 days a week, learned new exercises, movement patterns and my strength increases each week surprised me. I achieved four pull-ups around week 8 or 9. I’m now training (mostly) 5 days a week and love every minute of it. I look forward to training and seeing the other members. Truth be told though, not every day i feel like showing up and doing the work, life just gets heavy sometimes, but having the Primal community behind you gets you through those days. And if that isn’t enough, Pol and Michael are always there to remind you of why you’re there. Short-term struggle or long-term suffering. If you’re on the fence about joining I’d say to you, what do you have to lose? The 4-week trial is a steal of a deal and if you don’t invest in yourself then who will??
I felt fat, tired & old, I had chronic pain in my lower back, shoulder & knees. I was well on my way to being another fat dad just plodding through life but I still had that glowing embers in my belly to make a change. I first encountered Pol on Facebook who accurately described my predicament with a road map to get where I wanted. It took me approximately 5 months after watching his videos to build up to courage to give it a go and what followed has honestly changed my life.
I am stronger, leaner, feel younger, and more confident than I have been in years. The embers in my belly are now a burning fire, the chronic pain has greatly reduced and I’m now training 5 days a week!
The gym is very friendly, with great banter. Pol & his team are very experienced & will get you where you need to be, they can be brutally honest which I needed to hear but very supportive to get you those results. If you want to make real changes then join Primal.
I joined Primal 2 years ago because I wanted a better structure to my previous fitness journeys. The content Pól and the team showed that it was a fun and safe place to train, I did my 2-week trial - turned up 4 times a week and enjoyed every session. The community is great, we have fun and support each other, the programs are well structured across levels of ability. One of the best things about it is that the trainers understand the life of a 40-year-old parent with kids, with the associated niggles and pains. I have been supported, pushed, and held to account without being made to feel like a failure. As a result, I have lost a lot of weight, I am stronger than I think I have ever been, I am happier in my life and can recommend Primal to anyone.
I joined Primal because I knew that they had exceptional coaches - people who actually cared, were knowledgable, and who would not only work with improving people's physiques but would also work on changing their mindsets. To me, it was all about becoming disciplined, emotionally strong, and resilient. I have never enjoyed working out or seen any results until I started working with Pól and Michael. Joining Primal was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My mindset has changed, my body looks different, I became a part of the most welcoming community and I feel great. Pól and Michael understood my goals and my weakness, they consistently showed that they cared about my goals and applied the required coaching techniques for me to get there.
